Born and raised in the great state of Ohio, Khrissy Richardson always had a passion for storytelling and connecting with people. Her career began in the dynamic world of sports journalism, where she had the privilege of working for a local news organization in Cleveland. The fast-paced nature of the industry taught her the importance of staying on top of the latest trends, delivering engaging content, and building meaningful relationships with her audience.

Throughout her career as a journalist, she conducted countless interviews and had the privilege of hearing stories from individuals from all walks of life. It was during these interviews that she began to recognize a common theme: the power of real-life skills and experiences. She firmly believes that people are more than just their formal education; their true potential lies in their unique abilities, talents, and perspectives.

Inspired by this realization, she took a leap of faith and founded “it’s NUTSHELL, Inc.” in 2019. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to revolutionize the way resumes are presented and evaluated. We have developed an innovative app that focuses on skill-based resumes, allowing individuals to showcase their talents and expertise beyond what traditional education-driven resumes reveal.

At it’s NUTSHELL, we are passionate about leveling the playing field and creating opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds. We believe that talent knows no boundaries, and everyone deserves a chance to shine based on their skills and experiences. Through our app, we strive to empower job seekers, enabling them to present themselves authentically and confidently to potential employers.
